humor columnist, funny, laugh, wiping the crazy off my face, ocd chick,
Who is the woman behind Wiping the Crazy off My Face?

Sherri Bailey (Sher to her friends, Shurry to her relatives) is a writer, a tap dancer, a fire baton twirler and a serial marrier.  (Only two of those things are actually true except in her own mind.)

She enjoys long walks (that's a lie...she hates nature), horse back riding (only if there are no horses involved), reading poetry (the kind that rhymes) and Moonpies (that part is totally true, but they have to be exploded in a microwave first for maximum gooiness).

In real life, Sher is a firefighter, (that should read "Sher wants a firefighter") has a gorgeous husband named Tad (Tad is in fact a figment of Sher's obscene imagination and looks like a guy named Ray she used to know), and four (two) beautiful kids (they really are) who are bi-lingual (Republicans) and who can often be found serving soup to the homeless (eating Wendy's and seeing who can burp the loudest).

Although she often jokes about it in her columns, Sher really does have Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (weird, huh?) and worries the United States will blow up if she doesn't touch the trunk of her car before she gets in it (poor, crazy Sher. She really is freaking nuts.).
